This document applies to the public accommodation-booking website https://book.coast.club and the booking interfaces operated by COASTVENTURE S.L. that link to this document (collectively, the Website).
Part A governs use of the Website. Part B explains how personal data is processed. Part C explains the use of cookies. The specific accommodation description, reservation summary and Accommodation Booking Terms displayed during a reservation also apply and prevail for that reservation if there is any conflict.
The Privacy Notice is provided for transparency and does not constitute a request for consent except where consent is expressly requested. Choices concerning non-essential cookies are made through the cookie banner or Cookie Settings control.
A. WEBSITE LEGAL NOTICE AND TERMS OF USE

2. Scope and permitted use
The Website provides information and online reservations for short-term tourist accommodation and related booking, payment and check-in services. It displays accommodation represented as holding any tourist licence or registration required at its location. The property-specific operator or provider and the applicable tourist licence or registration number are displayed before booking. A reservation is governed by the specific listing, price, reservation summary, confirmation and terms presented during that reservation.
The Website may be used only for lawful personal or professional purposes. Users must not interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious software, use another person's identity, obtain unauthorised access, collect data by unauthorised automated means or use the Website in a manner that infringes the rights of CoastVenture or any third party.
Only persons aged 18 or over may make a reservation or enter into a contract through the Website.
3. Information, availability and external links
CoastVenture takes reasonable care to keep Website information accurate. General descriptions, photographs, availability and prices may nevertheless change. The information contained in the reservation summary presented before confirmation governs the particular reservation.
Temporary interruption may occur because of maintenance, security incidents, technical failures or circumstances beyond CoastVenture's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Website may contain links to services operated by third parties. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy information, and CoastVenture is not responsible for services or content that it does not control.
4. Intellectual property
The Website and its content, including its text, photographs, graphics, designs, databases, trademarks and software, are owned by or licensed to CoastVenture or the relevant rights holder.
Users receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to access the Website for its intended purpose. Content may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, commercially exploited or used to create derivative material without the prior permission of the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
5. Customer assistance and complaints
Reservation questions and complaints concerning booking, payment or invoicing may be sent to reservations@coastventure.com. Property-specific assistance details are provided in the listing, reservation confirmation or check-in information.
Official complaint forms or the equivalent local procedure are available from the relevant accommodation operator where required by law. For accommodation in the Canary Islands, official tourism complaint forms are available from the relevant accommodation operator in the form required by applicable law.
6. Changes, applicable law and jurisdiction
CoastVenture may update these Website Terms prospectively by publishing the revised version. An existing reservation remains governed by the terms accepted when it was concluded.
Spanish law applies, together with any mandatory tourism and accommodation rules applicable at the property's location, without depriving consumers of any mandatory protection available under the law of their habitual residence. Jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with applicable mandatory law.
B. PRIVACY NOTICE
1. Controller and contact
COASTVENTURE S.L. is the controller for the Website, reservation, payment, invoicing and customer-service processing described in this Privacy Notice.
Questions and requests concerning personal data may be sent to info@coastventure.com or to the postal address stated above.
The accommodation operator, provider or authorised property manager identified before booking acts as a separate controller only for processing whose purposes and means it independently determines, including property access, statutory guest registration, incident handling and compliance with its own legal obligations.
2. Personal data processed
Depending on how the Website is used, CoastVenture may process:
- identity and contact information;
- reservation information, including stay dates, occupants, preferences and communications;
- guest-registration and identity-verification information, including nationality, date of birth and identity-document details or verification materials where lawfully required;
- billing details, payment status and transaction references;
- enquiries, requests, complaints and other communications; and
- IP address, device and browser information, security logs, Website interactions and cookie choices.
Complete payment-card details are normally entered directly into the payment provider's secure environment. CoastVenture generally receives only the information necessary to confirm, reconcile or refund the transaction.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Personal data may be processed:
- to operate the Website and provide requested information, based on steps requested before entering into a contract and CoastVenture's legitimate interest in operating its services;
- to process reservations, payments, check-in, property access, customer assistance and contracted accommodation services, based on pre-contractual steps and performance of the relevant contract;
- to verify identity, protect reservations and payment processes, prevent fraud, maintain security and establish, exercise or defend legal claims, based on contractual necessity, applicable legal obligations and CoastVenture's legitimate interests;
- to comply with guest-registration, tourism, tax, accounting, consumer-protection and other legal obligations;
- to respond to enquiries and complaints, based on the user's request and CoastVenture's legitimate interest in managing communications; and
- to operate optional analytics, personalisation or advertising technologies, where used, based on the user's consent.
4. Sources and required information
Personal data is obtained from the person concerned, the person making a reservation for other guests, the booking interface and service providers involved in the requested reservation.
Information identified as required must be provided to conclude or perform the requested reservation or comply with legal obligations. If it is not provided, the reservation, payment, check-in, property access or accommodation service may not be available.
A person providing information about another guest confirms that they are authorised to do so and will direct that person to this Privacy Notice.
5. Recipients
Personal data may be disclosed, only where necessary, to:
- the accommodation operator or provider and its authorised property manager;
- reservation, payment, identity-verification, communications, hosting and information-technology providers;
- professional advisers, auditors and insurers;
- public authorities, courts and law-enforcement bodies where required by law; and
- a purchaser or successor in connection with a lawful corporate restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection measures.
A recipient that determines its own purposes and means of processing acts as an independent controller. Other providers process personal data on CoastVenture's documented instructions.
CoastVenture does not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are made only where an adequacy decision applies or appropriate safeguards are used, including European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses and any supplementary measures required by law.
Information about the safeguards applicable to a particular transfer may be requested through the contact details above.
7. Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose:
- enquiries that do not result in a reservation are normally retained for up to six months;
- reservation, guest-registration, billing, tax and contractual records are retained for the periods required by applicable law and for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; and
- cookie retention periods are shown in the relevant Cookie Settings information.
Data may be restricted rather than deleted where retention is required by law or necessary for legal claims.
8. Data-protection rights
Subject to the conditions established by applicable law, data subjects may request:
- access to their personal data;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure;
- restriction of processing;
- portability of data provided on the basis of consent or contract;
- withdrawal of consent; and
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
Requests may be sent to info@coastventure.com. CoastVenture may request information reasonably necessary to verify the applicant's identity and will respond within the legally applicable period.
A complaint may be submitted to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at https://www.aepd.es or to another competent supervisory authority.
9. Security and changes
CoastVenture applies appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction.
This Privacy Notice may be updated to reflect changes in processing or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated or prominently published where required.
C. COOKIE POLICY
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies store or access information on a user's device. They enable websites to function, remember selected preferences and, where the user has consented, measure use or personalise content.
2. Necessary and optional cookies
The Website uses strictly necessary cookies to provide functions expressly requested by the user, including security, reservations, payments and language, currency or other preferences expressly selected by the user. These cookies do not require consent.
Analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies, where used, are activated only after the user has given consent through the relevant cookie banner. The banner allows users to accept, reject or configure non-essential cookies by purpose.
3. Cookie information and withdrawal of consent
The current Cookie Settings information identifies the cookies used on the Website, including their provider, purpose, category and retention period.
Cookie consent may be changed or withdrawn at any time through the Cookie Settings control displayed on the Website. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before withdrawal.
If the purposes or providers of non-essential cookies materially change, the information and consent interface will be updated and renewed consent will be requested where required.
4. Browser settings and third-party cookies
Users may also delete or block cookies through their browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent reservation, payment or other requested Website functions from operating correctly.
Third-party providers may process information collected through their cookies in accordance with their own privacy information. Any resulting international transfer is subject to the safeguards described in Part B.
